Shay developed a seizure disorder called infantile spasms, when she was just 4 months old. She was given high dose steroids and they went away, but unfortunately, she relapsed at eight months old. That is when we started her in the early intervention program and we were lucky enough to get 2 Easter Seals therapists to work with Shay twice a week!!! Since then, Shay has made great strides with the help of all of therapists including the two from Easter Seals. We are also proud to be the 2015 Easter Seals Representative Family and look forward to raising funds and awareness for Easter Seals.
