What is the Easterseals / CAI Volleyball Challenge & Spiker Stroll?
For over 40 years, the Volleyball Challenge has raised critically-needed funds to help Easterseals provide exceptional services to children and adults with disabilities so they can achieve their greatest level of independence.
The 2021 Easterseals/CAI Volleyball Challenge & Spiker Stroll takes places on Saturday, September 18 at the Chase Fieldhouse, 401 Garasches Ln., Wilmington, DE 19801.
By participating in this event, everyone can help change lives. Here are just some examples:
$150 helps provide physical therapy for a child with developmental delays.
$1,500 helps send a child or adult with disabilities to Easterseals' Camp Fairlee Manor, where they can experience the joys and challenges of a fully-accessible summer camp.
The Volleyball Challenge & Spiker Stroll offers teams a chance to have fun, exercise, win great prizes and meet some terrific new people!

Why am I participating in the 2021 Easterseals/CAI Volleyball Challenge & Spiker Stroll?
I want to help make a difference in the lives of children and adults who face significant challenges.
I believe that by participating in the volleyball challenge, I am personally investing in a kinder and stronger community and a world filled with infinite possibilities.
I trust that Easterseals Delaware and Maryland’s Eastern Shore is a fiscally responsible organization. For over 40 years, the National Health Council has cited Easterseals as the nationwide leader among its member voluntary non-profit healthcare organizations for the percentage of program dollars spent on direct client services. Nearly 90% of revenues are directed to services provided to children and adults with disabilities in our region.
I know that Easterseals stands by its mission to provide exceptional services to ensure that all people with disabilities or special needs and their families have equal opportunities to live, learn, work and play in their communities.
Why do I need your help?
It's amazing how good it feels to make a difference in the lives of others. I'm committed to making a difference, and I'm asking you to support me. With your help, we can join Easterseals in creating solutions that change lives.
What better reason is there? Please give what you can!
